Videotrope
Videotorpe is an art collective founded by Roberto Sartor and Matteo Stocco that
base its identity mainly on the internet. Influences come from different artistic
movements such as: interactive art (architecture mapping, sound and video interactive
installations), web art (use of internet as a space for art or as a source for footage), and
over all video art.
Videotorpe researches mainly on the deconstruction of contemporary media in order to
analyze and observe them from new points of view.
Videotopre createas images, videos, installations, objects and usually propose them in
pubblic spaces. Videotorpe believes firmly in the open source ethic.

A recent project
Outroperfor showed at A+A gallery at Tool_kit festival. Outroperfor is a site specific
interactive installation. A wall has been mapped in order to fit projections and
transform the perception of space of the audience.
A 3d shape was projected and its shape was deformed by audio inputs coming
from the surroundings. Installation made with Cinema 4d, Processing and Quartz Composer.
Audio composed by Mauro Sommavilla. A special thanks goes to Alberto Elizondo.
