Shrine
Shrine is a little sculpture that pretends to contain my personal memories.
This project was possible thanks to a personal research on religious shrines in Italy.
I've decided to create an object that stands for a contemporary shrine. No faith or gods
inside, just memories.
The object is made out of ceramic, solar panels and a positive framed film. When
it gets dark a light illuminates the film. The picture was taken by my father
in the summer of 1991 at Plitvice national park, Croatia. The subjects are me and my
mother holding hands.
